3 things that went well

  • the slicing of the cookies went really well, the edges were clean. Few crumbs.

  • the flavor of the inner cookie tasted really good.

  • it was an easy clean up.

3 things that were struggles

  • The assembling was hard to make sure the inner shape stayed.

  • the shape could have been better it looked squished.

  • I needed to be more patient to make the dough

For the outer shell we used pink food dye. The cream on the inside we used strawberry flavoring.

The things that went good would be the shells we're really smooth and they tasted delicious. Some things i would change would probably be the intensity of the taste of the cream it could be a little more sweet.

Our cake is a delicious choclate cake with coffee buttercream icing.

we used a big piping bag to do the smoothing and a small piping tip to do the details. we used sparkles, because on a traditional treasure chest there are bolts and stuff holding it together. We have none of the in progress pictures.

3 things that went well were how the cake turned out the taste, the shape, and the buttercream. I learned how to use a piping bag, and how to pipe properly.

2 things that could be worked on is to get the color of the buttercream right for the details, and to get the sprinkles on right.
